Get To Know Josh Witt
Josh was introduced to the hardware industry when he purchased the Napa Auto Parts store in Paulding Ohio. The Paulding location was a half auto parts store and half hardware store.
At the time of purchase, the hardware store was represented by True Value. Immediately after purchasing that location, Josh switched the hardware part of the business from True Value to Do it Best.
This acquisition happened on January 1st, 2022. Josh, being a growth-minded business owner, acquired his second Do it Best location on October 1st, 2022 when he purchased Cottin’s Hardware in Sturgis, MI. Josh plans to continue to expand and add more hardware locations in the future.
When I have an option to grow and am able to take advantage of it, I’ll do it. My goal is to expand to as many as 40 stores, possibly in multiple states. I believe it’s attainable. I’ve got years of family experience to draw on. I believe, if you’re not growing, you’re slowing.
